1 / What issues does hypnotherapy help with?

Hypnotherapy can help with many different issues! Since my focus is on stress and anxiety, hypnotherapy sessions with me are focused on stress and anxiety. It will depend on what is giving you the stressful or anxious experience. I have worked with clients around breakups, grief and loss, overwhelm, generalized anxiety,  relationship stress and others. If it' causing you stress, we can probably use hypnotherapy to reduce the stress or anxiety. 

2 / How long does a hypnotherapy session last?

Typically, the hypnotic part of a hypnotherapy sessions will last for about 20 - 30 minutes. A full session is 45 minutes long. We spend some time in the beginning and end to check in and see how you are feeling that day, if you need extra time to settle in and relax, the hypnotherapy part might take a little bit longer. 

3 / Will you control my mind during a hypnotherapy session?

No! Not at all. Hypnotherapy is not about mind control. I like to think of it as a guided meditation, with a deeper purpose than relaxation or paying attention to the present moment. In a hypnotherapy session, you may remain fully awake or you may fall asleep. Either way, I will be giving suggestions to your subconscious mind that have been pre-approved by you!

You also have the option to receive a recording of your hypnotherapy session to listen to whenever you like.
