My approach to online trauma therapy
Did you know that unresolved trauma can affect both your mental and physical health?
I’m here to change that.
Trauma can show up in many ways - flashbacks, anxiety, irritability, avoidance, or feeling disconnected from yourself and others. While we can’t change the past, we can work to change how it impacts your present and future.
Not all stress or discomfort is trauma - but when past experiences overwhelm your daily life, relationships, or sense of self, it’s time to take action.
Together, we will explore how trauma manifests in your thoughts, emotions, and body. Sessions may include evidence-based approaches like EMDR, mindfulness techniques, somatic awareness, and self-regulation exercises. All interventions are personalized to your experience and what feels safe and supportive for you.

Stress Management Therapy FAQs
What is online trauma therapy?
Trauma therapy is a therapeutic approach designed to help you process and heal from distressing or overwhelming experiences. I use a holistic, mind–body approach that addresses how trauma affects your thoughts, emotions, and body. Techniques may include EMDR, mindfulness, somatic exercises, self-awareness practices, and any other tools that support your healing.
How is trauma different from stress?
Stress is usually short-term and related to current pressures, while trauma comes from past experiences that continue to affect your emotional and physical well-being. Trauma therapy helps you process these experiences, reduce symptoms like hypervigilance or emotional numbness, and regain a sense of safety and control.
How do I know that you are the right online trauma therapist for me?
That depends on your needs and preferences. Clients who work well with me are reflective, willing to explore difficult topics, open to trying new approaches in and between sessions, and value honesty and self-awareness. They understand that therapy doesn’t always have to be serious and are open to a bit of humor along the way. Occasional background noise, like my dog barking, is just part of the real, online experience.
